Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data is processed by the seller named above, acting as data controller, as described below.
2. Data we process
- Identity and contact: name, surname, email, phone, billing address.
- Transactions: orders, enrolled programs, payment status (card details are never collected or stored by NookAcademy; they are processed by the payment institution PayTR).
- Security: IP address, session and cookie records.
- Contact form: what you share in your message.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
We process data to create your account, deliver the training you purchase, handle payment and invoicing, meet legal obligations, answer requests and keep our systems secure — based on the performance of a contract, legal obligations and legitimate interest (KVKK Art. 5/2-c, ç, f). Marketing messages are sent only with your explicit consent.
4. Transfers
Data is shared only as far as necessary with the payment institution (PayTR), hosting and email providers, our accountant and authorised public bodies. Hosting and email may use servers abroad; such transfers follow KVKK Art. 9.
5. Retention
Data is kept for as long as the purpose requires and for statutory periods (e.g. 10 years under Turkish tax law), then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under KVKK Art. 11 you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, correction or deletion, learn who it was shared with, object, and claim compensation. Write to info@nookacademy.com; we respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
